CALEB UNIVERSITY, IMOTA, LAGOS PARTNERS NETFI-TURBO TECHNOLOGY LTD (A.K.A TURBO-Fi) FOR THE 2011 POST UTME SCREENING EXERCISE USING THE COMPUTER BASED TESTING (CBT) PLATFORM
CALEB University, Imota, Lagos, Nigeria conducted its 2011 Post UTME screening exercise for candidates applying for admissions into the institution on the 28th July, 2011. The institution had a target to offer provisional admission to successful candidates on the same day of the screening exercise. To achieve this, it was imperative for the results of the screening to be released instantly. After much deliberation, it was agreed that Computer Based Testing (CBT) was the best option to be deployed if the set goal was to be achieved.
NETFI-TURBO TECHNOLOGY LTD (Turbo-Fi), a young but dynamic ICT organization was contracted to partner with the institution toward the achievement of the set goal. Their computers were set up at the venue of the exam and adhering strictly to their unique examination flow, the screening exercise was conducted in a very seamless and hitch-free manner (see pictures below).
At the end of the screening exercise, candidates were screened and offered provisional admission on the same day. Awed parents, guardians and wards, smiled home with admission letters.
The project was successful.
The set goal was accomplished.
