Programmes in the Department

The Department offers three (3) programmes leading to the award of Bachelor Degrees in -

a.    Biochemistry
b.    Chemistry
c.    Industrial Chemistry

In accordance with the College philosophy, the three programmes have a common 100 level course structure, which is summarized in Table 8.  All students admitted through UME to the Department must have minimum of five (5) credits in Mathematics, English Language, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.  They must offer all the courses listed in Table 8.  Courses to be taken at 200 to 400 levels for biochemistry, industrial chemistry and pure chemistry are listed in that order in Tables 9, 10 and 11 respectively.

You can view Tables 8, 9, 10 and 11 as {PDF} and the course synopsis as {PDF}.
