Caleb University partners 32 CEOs to hold inaugural Employability Fair

Caleb University Imota Lagos, in collaboration with 32 corporate organisations, is holding an “Employability Fair,” where students will meet with a diverse range of industry leaders and chief executive officers to provide valuable opportunities for Networking, Career guidance, National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) mobilization placement and job opportunities.

 A former Minister of Works, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe, will give the keynote address at the programme.

The “Meet the CEO Event,” scheduled for Tuesday, 30th July 2024 at the University Multipurpose Hall by 9:00 a.m,. will also feature one-on-one interaction with CEOs; Physical Job Interviews, Employability Tests, Panel Discussions & Roundtables as well as Tips on Work-life.

According to the Vice-Chancellor of Caleb University, Prof. Nosa Owens-Ibie, this is another compelling reason why discerning stakeholders continue to choose Caleb University as a destination for their children and wards.

He said: “We invest heavily on not just their education and character but are ensuring that they are either gainfully employed or providing employment for others.

“Graduating students through the Fair will get insights into industry trends and requirements, build connections and mentorship, and initiate a lifelong corporate and professional relationship with the major business owners in the land.

“By organizing workshops and panel discussions, encouraging student-CEO mentorship, keynote sessions that offer tips to navigate the job market, interactive company booths for companies to showcase their cultures, networking lounges for students to meet potential employers in a relaxed atmosphere, Caleb University aims to support students’ career development and empower them to succeed in their respective fields.”

The CEOs expected at the fair will represent A-List organisations like First Bank Plc, Nestle Nigeria Plc, Diya Fatimilehin & Co., Yale Foods Plc, Industrial Training Funds (ITF), Nigerite PLC, IBTC Pension PLC, Lagos Traffic Radio, MRS Oil PLC, Checkers Custard, Cummins Generator, and Infinity Paints International.

Others include Investment One Financial Services, Fan Milk Nigeria PLC, Airtel Nigeria, Rite Foods Limited, Nigeria Bottling Company PLC, CITA Petroleum Limited, Fuel Communications Limited, Sola Enitan & Co. (Estate Surveyors & Valuers)/Cromwell Professional Services Limited, Edgefield Capital Management Limited and Financial Care Advisers Limited.

Redwood Consulting Limited, MTN Nigeria, Flour Mills Nigeria PLC, CREDITAL, Nestle Nigeria PLC, PUNCH Newspaper and The Nation Newspapers.
