Caleb University, Imota, Lagos, has been honored with the coveted Best Private University in Nigeria award at the African Education Monitor Magazine Awards 2024. The ceremony took place at Sheraton Hotels Ikeja, Lagos.
This achievement marks a double celebration for the university, following its recent recognition with the Living Legacy Platinum-Gold Award for Outstanding Innovations, Youth Development, and Social Impact at the Lagos-Ikeja City Awards 2024.
Vice Chancellor Prof Nosa Owens-Ibie received the award, highlighting the university’s unique programs in Mass Communication, Computer Science, Law, and other fields, which are tailored to meet industry demands and boast strong professional affiliations and accreditations.
The university’s commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and community engagement earned it this prestigious recognition, standing out among outstanding nominees.
The award ceremony, themed “Sustainable Development Goals in Education in Nigeria: Progress and Challenges,” acknowledges Caleb University’s student-focused learning, town and gown collaboration, and sustained affiliation with professional bodies.
