ICT CLEARANCE FOR FINAL YEAR STUDENTS AND REMINDER TO OTHER UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS

All Final Year Students should note that they would only be cleared by the ICT Unit upon the presentation of Global IT Certification Evidence for each of the four levels of undergraduate studies.

Such Certification, which should be based on what was offered at each level by either or both the ICT training companies engaged by the University or by CUL Technologies, will be scanned into a database for independent verification by the Quality Assurance and Academic Planning Directorates.

As contained in previous notices and the Letter of Undertaking signed by all students at the beginning of each session, Global IT Certification is a graduation requirement.

All Students should therefore note that they need to pass and obtain their IT Certification at each undergraduate level, for them to be cleared and obtain their certificates or transcript after graduation.

Since the evidence of the Certification is to be in a database for easy independent verification, there won’t be any way to avoid this requirement.
