Caleb University Vice Chancellor, Prof Nosa Owens-Ibie, in company of Committee of Vice Chancellors of Nigerian University (CVCNU), met with the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu at the State House, Alausa on Wednesday September 8, 2021.
The visit is in preparation for the 60th Anniversary of the Committee of Vice Chancellors in 2022. The Committee was represented by its (front row in group photo) current Chairman (identified to the Governor’s right); DVC, University of Lagos, Prof Oluwole Familoni. To the left of the Governor: Secretary to Lagos State Government, Mrs. Folasade Jaji; VC, Caleb University, Prof Nosa Owens-Ibie; Commissioner for Education Lagos State, Mrs. Folasade Adefisayo.
The Committee of Vice-Chancellors of Nigerian Universities, established in 1994, is made of Vice Chancellors of Nigerian universities, with the objective of promoting the scientific, educational, cultural and economic cooperation, and fostering the dialogue with other local and international organisations.
